Ukraine continues to be attacked relentlessly and yet holds fast. This week the war has taken on a more traditional battlefield in the East of Ukraine, but the Ukrainians are slowly losing ground it seems. How long will they be able to hold out?
Fires and explosions have been heard in different industrial centers inside Russia this week. Chemical plants, oil depots, and other infrastructure targets are being destroyed, but it seems no one is sure who is doing it. Is it coming from inside Russia or from Ukraine directly. If Ukraine were to push Russia out of Ukraine, would they continue across the Russian border?
Whatever happens, this is a worthy cause and the West must confront Russia till the bitter end. Comparing with World War II, NATO and the United States have responded much more favorably to a similar situation. Perhaps we have finally learned from history? Share your thoughts below.
